Payroll software for people who pay staff, not a payroll department
Payroll software is usually built for companies with a payroll department. This is built for the owner who pays nine people on the first of the month and needs to know who has been paid.

What Staff & Salaries does
Everyone on one register
Name, role, mobile, basic salary, advances and deductions, net payable and this month's status — the whole team on one screen.
Payslips raised automatically
Each month's payslips appear on their own, per person, on the pay day you set.
Advances that recover themselves
Money advanced against future pay is held as a running balance and comes off what is owed, so nobody has to remember it.
Pay one person or everyone due
Settle a single salary, or close out the whole month's payroll in one action.
Add a worker in one screen
Company, person, salary and pay day in a single form — no setting up a company before you can add the first hire.
Who it is for
Shops, workshops, construction and labour contractors, small offices, delivery fleets — anyone paying a team monthly who does not need statutory filing, only a straight answer about who is owed what.
Questions
- Can I pay everyone at once?
- Yes. One action settles every outstanding payslip for the month, and it tells you how many it settled and for how much.
- How are advances handled?
- An advance is a running balance against a worker, not a one-month deduction. It reduces what is payable until it is recovered.
- Can I have more than one company?
- Yes. Workers belong to a company, and a workspace can hold several — useful when the shop and the transport side pay separately.
- Does it calculate tax or PF?
- No. It tracks what you agreed to pay and what you have paid. Statutory deductions and filing are not part of it, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise.
