Delete your account
You can delete your WotBusiness account and everything in it. This page explains how, what goes, and what we keep.
Delete it from inside the app
This is the fastest route — there is no queue and no one to ask.
- Open WotBusiness and sign in.
- Go to Settings → About.
- Choose Delete my account.
- Type your email address to confirm.
- Enter the six-digit code we email you, and type DELETE.
You are signed out straight away and the login stops working.
You have 14 days to change your mind
Your workspace is not wiped the moment you confirm. It is closed and kept for 14 days. Sign in at any point in those 14 days and you will be shown the date it is scheduled for, with a button that cancels the deletion and puts everything back exactly as it was.
After 14 days it is wiped automatically and permanently. Nothing is kept back for us to restore from, and nobody has to press anything for it to happen.
Delete it without the app
If you have already uninstalled, email support@wotpan.com from the address you signed up with, with the words delete my account in the subject. We act on it within 7 days and write back when it is done. We will only ask you to confirm it was you — never for a password.
What is deleted
If you are the last owner of a workspace, the workspace goes with you. That means all of it:
- Your login, name, email address and phone number.
- Invoices, estimates, items, stock movements and parties.
- The cash book, expenses and payment records.
- Staff records and their salary history.
- Tenants, leases and rent history.
- Orders, customers and delivery addresses.
- Students, fees and school records.
- Every session and sign-in token.
If someone else owns the workspace with you, only your own login is removed and their records stay — deleting a bookkeeper must not delete the books.
What is kept, and for how long
Two things survive deletion, and only these:
- Payment records. Invoices and receipts for subscription payments are kept for as long as tax law requires us to keep them. They hold the amount, the date and the account they were raised against.
- Backups. Encrypted database backups roll off on their own schedule and are fully overwritten within 30 days. Nobody reads them in the meantime; they exist so a disk failure does not take a working customer's books with it.
Nothing else is retained, and nothing is reconstructed from a backup after a deletion.
After 14 days, this cannot be undone
Once the 14 days are up the deletion is permanent. We cannot restore an account, a workspace or a single invoice after that — not on request and not from a backup. If you want a copy of your records, open Settings → Backup and choose Download a backup; it is a file you keep, and it is the only copy that outlives the deletion.
